Hello everyone! I´m finally back from my trip to Sweden (I´m so tired!) and what can I say about DH, this event is just awesome as always. The amount of people there, the stands, computers, exhibitions, the amazing dream arena, the SSFIV:AE tournament and his friendly community are sick. I´m going to share my thoughts of the trip and specially the AE tournament, hope you enjoy it!
Dreamhack Winter 2011, here I go!
Once again, I´m going to Dreamhack Winter and of course I will enter on the SSFIV:AE tournament. Last time I ended up top 16 but I was still playing Rufus so this is going to be my first DH as Zangief. Most of the top EU players will be there as usual so it´s going to be tough! I will try to do my best and learn from this experience. Wish me luck!
Zangief matchups : vs M.Bison
Hello everyone again! I´m going to be covering and breaking down most of zangief matchups the best way I can, so the players that have trouble against certain characters have some pointers or tips on how to beat them. Keep in mind this is based on MY personal experience and those are MY thoughts, you may agree or not but I just want to help and any feedback is apreciated. As you see, the first matchup I´m going to speak about is M.Bison (dictator).
Why Zangief? My evolution as a player.
It doesn´t matter how many years I have been playing games or how many of them I took seriously, as a competitive player there is always something I´ve had clear: I play to win.
In fact, I always played top tier characters with the only purpose of winning , it didn´t really mattered to me what the design or playstyle was as long as I could get wins. And don´t get me wrong, there is nothing bad or coward with choosing only top tiers as long as you know why you are doing it, but that wasn´t my case. I just picked up those characters because I knew they were good, I didn´t bother to explore further than that or understand WHY they were really good: I was just being lazy.

My nickname is Sharin I´m from Barcelona (Spain), I´m 23 and i´ve been playing fighting games for almost 7 years now. Althought I´ve played almost every popular fighting game out there for a good amount of time, right now my main game and the one I compete is Super Street Fighter IV : AE but I plan to take the upcoming DOTA2 seriously as well.
